Environmental Policy:

At Morepack Packaging & Hanem Boxes we are committed to achieving Environmental Best Practices in all our business activities wherever practicable. We recognise the need to maintain a healthy environment in pursuit of achieving economic business growth and to meet the requirements of ISO4001 by seeking to continuously improve environmental performance in all aspects. To this end we recognise that we should conduct business in compliance with the laws and regulations designed to protect the natural resources of clean air, water and land. We also acknowledge the environmental interests of the local community.
We recognise the need to protect the environment and to prevent pollution and to this end all suppliers are actively encouraged to support the policy of protecting the environment.

Here are a few practical measures we have recently implemented:

• We recycle all of our corrugated waste in manufacturing, and last year (2008) this was extended to include all paper used in our offices and plastic waste from the warehouse.
• We actively promote the use of biodegradable and recyclable products wherever possible. In 2009 we set an objective to convert at least 10% of Loosefill product sales to biodegradable and so far we have at least achieved 85%.  We are now the leading distributor in our area for biodegradable Loosefill.
